Nikon

Estabilished in 1917 is a “cameras and optics only” company, one of the few not to have transformed into a general electronics group. It is perhaps the most fisheye-prolific brand ever, and the first to go out from the “prototype” philosophy, and produce and sell fisheye lenses.
Their first production fisheye was a medium format sky camera, with the 16.3mm fisheye nikkor, and the enormous 8mm f2.8 is still the highest quality circular fisheye around. In digital era they made the first original diagonal fisheye for APS-C sensors, the 10.5mm Nikkor.
