Nikon Fisheye-Nikkor f/8 8mm

First Nikkor fisheye for F system, first regular production fisheye on a 35mm format.

Fixed focus circular 180° fisheye lens, this is the first Fisheye Nikon designed and produced for the Nikon F system,in 1962, and the world’s first fisheye lens for 35mm photography to enter serial production. Its rear element protudes till few mm from film surface, so that it requires mirror lift and lock with the compatible reflex cameras, Nikon F, and it’s usable only with the non-photomic pentaprism or waist-level finder. A special external finder is provided in order to frame the image.
